Last updated: 4 August 2026.By using SPOT, you agree to these terms and the policies incorporated into them. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not excluded.
01

SPOT's role

SPOT connects customers with independent hosts offering services, appointments, classes, sessions and spaces.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, the host, not SPOT, provides the underlying service.

02

Accounts and guest bookings

Provide accurate information and protect login credentials and private booking-management links.

SPOT may verify identity before disclosing details or allowing a change, cancellation or refund.

03

Host responsibilities

Hosts must keep listing details, pricing, availability, language, location and cancellation terms accurate.

Hosts remain responsible for licences, safety, staff, service quality and legal compliance.

04

Availability and confirmation

A time or capacity may be held temporarily during checkout.

A booking is confirmed only after verified payment or confirmation of a free booking.

05

Prices and SPOT charges

Checkout shows the service price, customer fee and any disclosed charge before confirmation.

A host must not demand an undisclosed mandatory payment outside SPOT for a confirmed booking.

06

Payment and settlement

Paid transactions use the provider disclosed at checkout. SPOT records the transaction and fees.

Payout eligibility is checked after completion and risk review. Settlement uses the approved payment or banking process.

SPOT does not store full card details.

07

Cancellation and refunds

The listing and checkout policy applies with the Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights.

Approved refunds normally return through the provider to the original payment method.

08

Online sessions

Hosts must state the language, platform, timezone and device requirements and protect private joining links.

Customers must not share private access details with unauthorised people.

09

Attendance and entry codes

An entry code may be issued for classes, workshops and spaces that need attendance tracking.

It must not be copied, resold or misused. Private appointments may not require one.

10

Acceptable use

Fraud, impersonation, harassment, discrimination and unlawful or unsafe services are prohibited.

Payment manipulation, unauthorised access and data misuse are also prohibited.

11

Verification and restrictions

SPOT may request identity, business, qualification or settlement information.

Accounts, listings or payment functions may be restricted during a risk, complaint, legal or policy review.

12

Privacy

The Privacy Policy applies to personal data. Hosts may use customer information only to fulfil a booking or meet a valid legal obligation.

13

Service limitations

SPOT provides technology and cannot guarantee every service is risk free. These terms do not exclude liability where the law forbids it.

14

Contact and disputes

Submit questions or disputes through the Contact page and include the booking reference and any relevant payment reference.
